Kennett senior recognized

On May 14, Jonathan Ayllon was recognized as a deserving senior from Kennett High School. He was awarded a full laptop computer system at the Chester County Interlink (CCIL) Student Recognition Award Ceremony held at Chester County Hospital.

Chester County Interlink is a a volunteer public charitable organization with virtual headquarters in West Chester. It has been in operation since 1993. Its mission is “to ensure that Chester County residents and organizations have easy and equitable electronic access to information while encouraging interaction among them as part of an electronic community.” 

Through its program Laptops for Graduating Seniors, CCIL establishes a partnership with one or more administrative or staff members within a school and asks the partners to select one deserving college-bound senior to benefit from the laptop, which is supplemented with a , mouse, printer, cable, and Microsoft Office suite. 

Ayllon plans to go to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in the fall. He is the son of Maria del Carmen Ayllon of Kennett Square. He was accompanied to the ceremony by guidance counselor Cassandra Allen and ESL teacher Jason Cordova.
