Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, a native of Chester County, is returning home for a weekend of fundraising events for the Believe & Achieve Foundation that begin on June 21.

The foundation was established to help local children living in poverty, and provides access to basic needs for at-risk youth in the greater Philadelphia area. Ryan said that he believes that “giving young people the opportunity, support and skills to reach their full potential is an exciting and worthwhile cause.”

The fundraising events include the inaugural celebrity gala on June 21 and the fourth annual golf outing on June 23. The gala takes place at the Simeone Automotive Museum, located in Philadelphia. The cocktail reception starts at 6 p.m. and will be followed by dinner and dancing, as well as silent and live auctions. Sports comedian Joe Conklin, "the man of a thousand voices,” will serve as the master of ceremonies. The gala will feature guided tours of the museum, allowing guests to experience an exclusive showing of the rarest racing sports cars in the world.

The weekend will wrap up with the fourth annual Believe & Achieve golf outing. The golf outing will be held at Stonewall Country Club in Elverson. Lunch and registration will begin at 11 a.m., and the tee-off will take place at 1 p.m., followed by cocktail and dinner receptions.

Individual tickets for the gala and golf outing are $350. The Believe & Achieve website has additional details. Visit www.believeandachievefoundation.org.
