Avon Grove grads earn top academic honors

Avon Grove High School seniors Marcus Frost and Ethan Phillips have been named as the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2014, respectively.

Forst will be attending Temple University in the fall, where he will major in engineering. Phillips will be attending the University of Pittsburgh, where he will major in mathematics.

A total of 447 graduates from Avon Grove's Class of 2014 will earn

their high school diplomas during commencement exercises on June 18 at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, De., beginning at 7 p.m.
