DRUG CHARGES

Kennett Square police arrested Pedro Guerrero-Rojas, 21, of Kennett Square, on May 15 for possession of marijuana, criminal trespass, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and two counts of sale or use of solvents. Police found Guerrero-Rojas sitting on the railroad tracks near Grant Way, huffing an unknown substance. He was released pending a summons from district court.

HARASSMENT

Kennett Square police cited Manuel Bedolla, 20, of West Grove, and Jose Quintana, 21, of Kennett Square, for harassment and disorderly conduct after an incident on the afternoon of May 4 in the 200 block of East State Street. A criminal complaint was also filed against Rodrigo Bedolla, 30, of West Grove, for simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. A 20-year-old victim told police that Manuel Bedolla and Jose Quintana were threatening him, wanting to fight, and that Rodrigo Bedolla had pulled a knife on him.

DRUG CHARGES

Manuel Bedolla, 20, of West Grove, was arrested by Kennett Square police for possession of a syringe and a wax baggie after police contacted him on May 5 at 9:03 p.m. at West State and South Washington streets in Kennett Square. He was released pending a summons from district court.

ASSAULT CHARGES

Kennett Square police filed a criminal complaint against Colbert Graffunder, 23, of Kennett Square, for simple assault, harassment and two counts of reckless endangerment after an incident on May 1 at 2:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Taylor Street. A 26-year-old victim told police that as she was driving with her 1-year-old child in her vehicle, Graffunder grabbed her around her neck and was banging her head against the car window.

PARKING TICKET LEADS TO CHARGES

Samuel Lasorda, 57, of Phoenixville, was cited for disorderly conduct after an incident on May 21 at 1:09 p.m. in the 100 block of East State Street. Kennett Square police reported that Lasorda confronted a parking enforcement officer who was writing a ticket for parking more than 12 inches away from the curb. A passerby noticed the argument becoming heated and started taking pictures of the pair. Lasorda became aggressive towards the passerby and police were called.

PET STORE BURGLARIZED

The Pet Value store in the 800 block of East Baltimore Pike in East Marlborough Township was broken into overnight on May 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale. Someone forced open the rear door of the business and searched inside, but apparently did not steal anything. 

DOOR VANDALIZED

Someone smashed the front door of the Butts Ticket Company, at 151 Hood Rd. in Cochranville, between May 17 and 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale. Police did not say if the vandal gained entry into the business.

DUI

Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested Rigoberto Valencia-Magallon, 36, of Newark, Del., for DUI on June 1 at about 3:26 a.m. Police noticed a car parked on the shoulder of Route 1, south of Route 41, and investigated. The driver was in the car and found to be DUI. He was taken to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale for processing.
