'Macbeth' earns Hopewell top Shakespeare Festival Award

On May 9, the Hopewell Elementary School Players participated in the 26th annual Chester County Shakespeare Festival, which was sponsored by the Chester County Intermediate Unit and held at Immaculata University. 

The troupe presented "Macbeth" and was recognized with several awards, including Best Overall Play. Cast members included (front, from left) Maddie Chambers, Miranda Nilan, Kirsten Brennan, Destinee Grant, Kylie Klein, Bobby Amonitti, Regan Robinson, Lalah Walker, Chris Palkon, Mary Combs, Cameron Todd, Lexie McNeil and Taylor Todd; top, from left, Savannah Morrison, Brianna Shortell, Darrelle Zavala, Thomas Hanna, Faithe Caron, Kayla Workenaour, Maggie Shallow, Dakota Leonard and Arianna Santos and teacher advisor Rosemary Guarino.
