Art and music in Oxford for 'Third on Third'

“Third on Third,” a new series of live music and art events held on the third Friday of each month, begins on Third Street in Oxford on May 16 from 5 to 8 p.m.

At the Octoraro Tavern (Market and Third streets), there will be an art sale and raffle, with a portion of all sales donated to the Oxford Arts Alliance, from 5 to 8 p.m. At the Outback Trading Company (29 S. Third St.), there will be an exhibit by equine photographer Louise Martin.

In the Arts Alliance Gallery (38 S. Third St.), music students from the Arts Alliance will perform. At the Coatesville Bank (126 S. Third St.), singer/songwriter Justin Bell will perform. At J&K Slightly Touched (119 S. Third St.), local artists will display original artworks. 

Downtown businesses will also be open until 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.OxfordArt.org.
