'Jazz Along the Brandywine' slated April 4

The 15th annual "Jazz Along the Brandywine" festival will be held on April 4 at Unionville High School. 

Student musicians will perform in a variety of styles -- from soul to swing to samba -- in this Cavalcade of Bands-adjudicated event. This year’s participatin schools are Methacton, Ridley, Central Bucks South, Hempfield, Wissahickon 1, Wissahickon Lab and Strath Haven.  The Patton Middle School Jazz Band will give a special guest performance.  The evening concludes with an exhibition by the Unionville High School Jazz Band, followed by an awards ceremony.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors, free for ages 5 and younger.  Food and drinks will be sold.
