The Kennett High School baseball team will be hosting “The Trivia Throwdown in the Square” on April 5 from 5 to 8 p.m.

In a “Jeopardy"-style event, points are awarded based on the accuracy and number of points wagered before each question. Prizes will be given to the contestants who win the most points over the course of the evening. The cost of entry is $10.

Prizes include cash and gift cards to The Market at Liberty Place. All proceeds benefit the Kennett High School baseball team for the upcoming season.

Located at 148 West State St. in downtown Kennett Square, The Market at Liberty Place is home to a mix of merchants selling foods, wine, produce, and other retail goods. It is also designed to serve as a gathering place for members of the Kennett Square community. Inside the market are Nourish Juice Bar & Café, Yo’R So Sweet (creperie), Rick’s Steaks, State St Pizza & Grill, Paradocx Vineyard, Terra Foods, an all-natural organic grocer, George & Sons Seafood, & Punk’d Pineapple (soft serve ice cream).
