Nottingham County Park’s “Telling Nature’s Story: An Introduction to Nature Photography” will be held March 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“Nature, in all its forms, has an energetic and often wondrous story to tell, and photography is one medium by which to tell it,” said Marian Quinn, program instructor. “But learning to create quality nature photographs can be daunting.”

The nature photography program covers choosing a local patch, learning to read the light, studying nature’s possibilities, moving past a camera’s auto settings, and considering compositional impact. The program is free, but is limited to 20 participants, age 16 or older. Participants are asked to bring a camera, preferably one with manual settings, and writing materials. To register, call 610-932-2589 or e-mail [email protected]

Nottingham County Park is at 150 Park Rd., Nottingham, six miles south of Oxford.
