Each June, the Octorara Intermediate School becomes a local venue for Relay for Life. The American Cancer Society, along with the LanChester Event Planning Committee is announcing the kickoff for the start of the new Relay Year.

The kickoff event takes place on Monday, Feb. 10 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West Street in Parkesburg. The public is invited to attend. This kickoff  event will feature Christiana resident and long time Lions member Jimmy Davis as a survivor speaker. There will be refreshments, prizes, and lots of important information concerning the event.
