The Oxford Lions Club recently held a breakfast for the Oxford Area High School chapter of the LEO Club, which the Lions have sponsored for three years.

LEO (Leadership, Experience and Opportunity) clubs are community service groups for young people sponsored by local Lions Clubs through Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest community service organization. The breakfast, held at the high school, was in appreciation for the hard work of the LEO members in numerous community service projects, including an annual danceathon fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Seated (from left) are LEO members Elaine Estes, Teresa Freisleben, Keenan Bowers, Makayla Manco, Mackenzie Johnson, Rosi Gonzalez, Jorge Zurita-Coronado, Alyssa Sniechoski and Niciata Charlton; standing (from left) are members Corinne Blessington, Daniel Irving, Maddy Robinson, Kinsey Hartert, Holly Spalding, Nora Cahill, Sarah Hershey, Ellie Murphy, Maggie Walsh, Jacob Abrams, Eddie Diaz, liaison to the Oxford Lions; Michaela Walsh, secretary; Mary-Rachel Ledger, president; Hannah McComsey, treasurer; Chris Chavez, vice-president; Oxford Lions Club president Jean Bender, Lions member Bill Lewis, LEO members Jessica Villagomez and Cenuel Rosado and Oxford Area High School principal Christopher Dormer.
