Kennett Square police are searching for two men who held up a business and fled with the cash register on Feb. 3.

According to a police report, two men wearing face masks and hoodies entered the business in the 400 block of East South Street at about 11 p.m., when the business was closing. One of them pointed a handgun at a clerk. The other suspect picked up the  cash register, and both fled. They did not speak before getting into a yellow vehicle.

A yellow vehicle with Delaware plates was found later by state police. It had been abandoned on Old Kennett Road, west of Bayard Road. Police determined that the car had been stolen.

The suspects are described as between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 inches tall, thin to medium build, and they were wearing dark clothing. The investigation is continuing.
