The Kennett High School baseball team will be hosting “The Trivia Throwdown in the Square” on Feb. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.

In a "Jeopardy"-style event, points will be awarded based on the accuracy and the number of points wagered before each question. Prizes will be given to the contestants who win the most points over the course of the evening. The cost of entry is $10. Prizes include cash and gift cards to The Market at Liberty Place. All proceeds benefit the Kennett High School Baseball team as a fundraiser for the upcoming season.

Located at 148 W. State St. in downtown Kennett, The Market at Liberty Place is home to  merchants selling prepared foods, wine, produce, and other retail goods. It is also designed to serve as a gathering place for members of the Kennett Square community. Located inside the Market are Nourish Juice Bar & Café, Yo’R So Sweet, Rick’s Steaks, State St Pizza & Grill, Paradocx Vineyard, Terra Foods, George & Sons Seafood, and Punk’d Pineapple.
