Fretz to talk about the Peoples Bank of Oxford

Carl Fretz will be the presenter of a program titled, “One Hundred Years: Peoples Bank of Oxford Helped Build a Community” on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Oxford Presbyterian Church Social Hall (6 Pine St., Oxford).
Fretz started working at the bank in 1948, after he graduated from Oxford High School. He was personally involved in various community activities through the years. He retired as the bank president in 2004.
The program is part of the Oxford Area Historical Association's schedule of events. All are welcome and admission is free. Light refreshments will be served.
