Lisa Long has been awarded by the Pennsylvania State Sportsmen's Association.

Lisa Long, a CPA in Avondale, was recently named the 2014 Pennsylvania Trapshooter of the Year by the Pennsylvania State Sportsmen’s Association (PSSA) in Elysburg, Pa.

The award will be presented to Long at the 2014 Pennsylvania State Shoot in June.

PSSA honors one shooter each year for their achievements during the previous target shooting year.  The recipient is chosen after a nomination and qualifying process.  Long earned  major titles in tournaments in Pennsylvania, Florida, Delaware, New York and other states.  She is only the third woman to be selected for the honor in the 27 years it has been awarded.

In addition, Long was named to the 2014 Amateur Trapshooting Association All-American Team for the second consecutive year.   She has been shooting competitively for more than 25 years. To learn more about trapshooting in Pennsylvania, visit www.pssa.org
