01/07/2014 06:19PM ● By Acl

Punk’d Pineapple, the first soft-serve ice cream vendor in Kennett Square, is celebrating its grand opening on Jan. 10 and 11. There are numerous activities planned for the weekend at the Market at Liberty Place.

On Friday from noon to 9 p.m., WSFS Bank will be offering prizes. Saturday’s highlights include the Juggling Hoffmans from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. They will be offering free face painting for kids, balloon animals, juggling shows, and more. Punk’d Pineapple will be giving away prizes all weekend. Their Pineapple Float is already a favorite at Disney World and other theme parks. Homemade toppings will change weekly.

Punk’d Pineapple is the eighth vendor in the recently opened Market at Liberty Place joining Rick’s Steaks, Yo’R So Sweet “a creperie,” Nourish Juice Bar & Café, State Street Pizza and Grill, Terra Foods “a local, organic grocer,” George & Son’s Seafood, and Paradocx Vineyard. Located at 148 W. State St. in downtown Kennett Square, The Market is open seven days a week. For more information, visit www.themarketatlibertyplace.com or visit The Market’s Facebook page.
