Allstate agency owner Robert Stead has received the Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to helping others. In conjunction with this award, The Allstate Foundation provided a $1,000 grant to the Solanco School District, where Stead volunteers.

“Commitment to our communities is a natural extension of what we do every day – protecting people and making their lives more secure” said Julia Reusch, Allstate spokeswoman. “With support from The Allstate Foundation, Robert Stead and the Solanco School District are making this hometown a better, safer place to live.”

The Allstate Foundation awards more than $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of agency owners who give back.
