VEGETABLE OIL STOLEN

Kennett Square police reported that a 55-gallon drum of used vegetable oil was stolen from a business in the 200 block of Magnolia Street overnight on Nov. 18. 

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

A 14-year-old boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia that was found in his backpack on Nov. 15 in the 600 block of Lafayette Street in Kennett Square. He has been referred to Juvenile Probation for these charges, according to Kennett Square police.

DRUNK AND SLEEPING

Kennett Square police cited Mario Hall, 22, of Lincoln University, on Nov. 17 at 5:13 a.m., after he entered an unlocked home in the 300 block of South Union Street and fell asleep on the couch. He was cited for public drunkenness.

MARIJUANA CHARGES

On Dec. 1, just before 1 a.m., a New Garden Township police officer saw a car stopped in the 8900 block of Gap Newport Pike and the driver, Alicia Stoneback, 21, of Lincoln University, was vomiting from the car. Police found a baggie containing suspected marijuana in the dashboard of her car, as well as a half-smoked marijuana cigar. She was charged and released pending a court appearance.

DUI

Kennett Square police arrested Javier Aguilar-Ordonez, 37, of Avondale, for DUI on Nov. 22 at 10:10 p.m. Police responding to a report of an erratic driver stopped his car in the 700 block of West State Street. He was released pending a summons from District Court.

New Garden Township police arrested Jose Gutierrez-Nunez, 27, of West Grove, for DUI on Nov. 28 after he was seen driving erratically at the intersection of Newark and Starr roads. He was released pending a court appearance.

New Garden Township police arrested Edder Pelico, 29, of Kennett Square, for DUI on Nov. 30 after he was seen driving slowly and drifting over the center line on Baltimore Pike. He was released pending a court appearance.

New Garden Township police arrested Andrew Gotschall, 27, of Oxford for DUI on Nov. 30 after he was seen driving erratically on Gap Newport Pike. An open bottle of whiskey was found in the car. He was released pending a court appearance.

Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested Milton Carl McCallister, 28, of Oxford, on Dec. 6 after he crashed his car in the parking lot of Jennersville Hospital and drove away. He was pulled over by police a short distance from the hospital and arrested for DUI and resisting arrest. 

Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested James Andrew Bollinger, Jr., of Ridley Park, on Dec. 8 at 3:22 a.m., after they found him in his car, which was parked half on the curb on Route 1 at Onix Drive. He was charged with DUI.
