12/04/2013 01:23PM ● By Acl

The annual sale of handmade “critter” Christmas ornaments will be held at the Brandywine River Museum on Dec. 7 and 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Critters are made from organic materials and come in dozens of shapes and sizes, from small, individual ornaments to large, tabletop decorations. They are made in many likenesses, ranging from animals to ballerinas, Santas, angels, snowmen and athletes. Prices range from $5 to $45. Specialty items start at $50.

After the two-day sale, the ornaments will be sold in the museum shop through Jan. 5. All proceeds benefit the Museum Volunteers Art Purchase Fund. Admission is free. For more information, call 610-388-2700, or visit www.brandywinemuseum.org
