Coyle signs with Penn State University

McKenna Coyle signed a letter of intent to play lacrosse for a Division I Penn State University during a ceremony on Nov. 15. She had verbally committed to Penn State the summer before her junior year of high school. 

In addition to playing lacrosse since seventh grade, McKenna has played on Kennett High School’s volleyball team for four years (one year on the junior varsity team; three years as a varsity player), and Kennett High School’s varsity basketball team her freshman and sophomore years.

As the goalie of Kennett High School’s lacrosse team McKenna was named to the 2011 Ches-Mont League Third Team; 2012 Kennett High School Lacrosse MVP; 2012 Ches-Mont League First Team; 2013 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American Honorable Mention; 2013 U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American.  She was also named to the 2011 Philly 2 National Tournament Team, the 2011 Philly Under Armour High School All-Star Team, the 2012 Philly 1 National Tournament Team, and the 2013 Philly National Tournament Team.

In addition to playing lacrosse for Kennett High School, McKenna is a member of a PA Express club team. 

She is also a member of the National Honor Society and will major in marketing at Penn State.
