State Rep. Chris Ross issued a press release late Tuesday afternoon announcing that he will not seek another term in the State House when his current term expires in 2014. Ross has served the 158th district for the last 18 years.

"I am ready to step aside when my current term ends next year," Ross said in a statement. "Furthermore, by not having to manage a campaign next year, I can better focus on passing four bills I have been working on this year..."

Ross has authored 28 bills that have become law during his time in office. Before being elected to the General Assembly, Ross was a supervisor in London Grove Township.
