The Newark Arts Alliance (NAA) will present the annual Holiday Art Market from Tuesday, Nov. 26 to Tuesday, December 31.

Eleven artists will have booths set up in the NAA’s Terry Foreman Exhibition Gallery with a variety of fine art, crafts, and jewelry for sale, all perfect for holiday gift-giving.  During the Holiday Art Market, hours will be extended on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The hours from Tuesday through Sunday will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hours on Thursday will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  All sales will benefit the artists and the NAA.

The Holiday Art Market artists are juried for selection.  This year’s artists are Andrea Barrier (jewelry); Eleanor Fink (jewelry); Terry Foreman and Isabel Crowther (mosaics, felt ornaments, and photography); Carole Fox (porcelain pottery); Karen Hornor (jewelry); Judy Hotchkiss (watercolors, prints, and cards); Jo Miller (fiber art, felted art, and upcycled art); Wendy Shipman (handweaving); Doortje Shover (window ornaments and jewelry); and Rich Stevenson (tie dye and batik).  Art by local artists is guaranteed to be unique and to make your loved ones feel special.

The NAA will hold a free reception to welcome the artists and celebrate the Holiday Art Market on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Light refreshments and drinks will be served. This event is free and open to the public.

The Newark Arts Alliance’s programs are made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
