Jennifer Guzman, Alexa Arizaga and Maria Luna meet college students majoring in chemistry and watch experiments.

Girl Scouts from the Brandywine Valley Service Unit attended a recent National Chemistry Week science event. Sponsored by the American Chemical Society and several local companies and academic institutions, the event featured chemistry experiments and a chemistry show. In one experiment, canisters were shot into the air after being fueled by a chemical reaction. For more information about scouting, visit gsep.org.
