AGRA soccer season concludes

The following are results of the final week of play for the Avon Grove Recreation Association's Fall Soccer Program:

Oxford Plumbing & Heating defeated Nowland Associates Contractors 2-1.  Darby Bankoski and Mia Costagliola each scored one goal with Macy Scheck provding key offense and Audrey Stemen providing key defense for Oxford Plumbing & Heating, Inc.  Nowland Associates Contractors' Charlotte Higginson scored a great goal.  Mikaela Cavanagh played solid defense along with strong goaltending by Mallory Fasois.

Cari Orthodontics took the win 2-0 over Oxford Plumbing & Heating, Inc. Sabriya Zaman and Leah Washington scored one goal each with an assist by Penelope Scheck.  Oxford Plumbing & Heating, Inc. had great goaltending from Rachel Gaebel and  Erica Roland.  Brianna Miller and Natalie Poole were strong on defense. Colby Soliwoda, Chelsea Kneedler, and Rachel Eason pushed the offense for Oxford Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

Abernethy's Auto Body Shop defeated Tom's TV 4-1.  Madeline Rowland, Josh McGurl, Zac Laskow and Eve Ship[kowski each netted one goal for Abernethy's Auto Body Shop.  Strong support from Steven Lui, Patrick Lui, Jesse Peterson and Eli Boone. Tom's TV had one goal by Justin Webber and great defense from Neil Pendse.

Filacheck's Furniture won 2-1 over Kelly's Sports, Ltd.  Filacheck's Furniture had one goal each from Kody Parente and Isaac Rose.  Nikihl Pendse had great all around play.  Grant McCauley played great defense.  Jude Miller played great offense.  Gavin Travis was a beast in goal. Billy McAfee had great offensive play.  Jack Reischke played awesome in goal.  Matthew McDonald played great on defense.  Every player showed major improvement over the season for Filacheck's Furniture. Kelly's Sports, Ltd. goal was scored by Jonathan LeStourgeon. Overall team played well and players worked hard.

Davis Accounting tied Yerkes Insurance 1-1 with a goal from Siena Davolos with an awesome throw in assist from Abbigail Geracimos.  Lanie Gomez was playing aggressively the entire game for Davis Accounting.  Yerkes Insurance goal scorer was Emma Coates. Key offensive players were Isabella Bertolino, Kira Costagliola, Bridget Keegan, and Viviana Hollars.  Key defensive players were Raleigh Molnar, Jasmeet Gill, Lyndsey Gaebel and good hustle from Jade Shipkowski.
