Pumpkin-carving and guess-the-weight contest at the Market at Liberty Place

Children 15 and under are invited to participate in the pumpkin-carving contest at The Market at Liberty Place, 148 West State Street, Kennett Square. Drop off your scariest, most creative carved pumpkin on or before 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 for the chance to win a gift card to and a donation of $50 to the Parent Teacher’s Association for the winner’s school. Two winners will be chosen--the child with the scariest pumpkin and one for the child with the most creative pumpkin. The scariest pumpkin winner will receive a $25 gift card to The Market and the most creative pumpkin will win a $25 gift card to The Market as well as a $25 gift card to an outside store. Both winners will also earn their schools a $50 donation to the PTO on their behalf as well. No purchase necessary. Pumpkins will be available at The Market at Liberty Place (Terra Foods) after October 20. Drawing for the contest is at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The Market will also have a "guess-the-weight” contest open to all ages. Come to the Market with your best “guesstimation” skills and guess the weight of our pumpkin. The winner will receive candy and a $25 Market Gift Card. Drawing is on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 pm.
