Oxford Area High School girls’ varsity cross-country takes first

The Oxford Area High School girls’ varsity cross-country team earned a first place finish, with a score of 38 points, at the Maryland Track 'n' Trail Invitational held on Sept. 14 in Fair Hill, Maryland. The Oxford Area High School girls’ varsity cross-country team took first place, with a score of 38 points, at the Maryland Track 'n' Trail Invitational held on Sept. 14 in Fair Hill, Maryland.

Freshman Zibby Harvey placed second overall and sophomore Olivia Quinci placed third. Senior Alyssa Sniechoski and junior Elaine Estes also finished in the top 10, with the remaining varsity members placing in the top 25.

The boys’ varsity team placed eighth overall and Bryant Wilson finished in 11th place. Amanda Cox won the girls junior varsity race and Joe Barr won the boys JV race.
