Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested Tyahir Mitchell, 21, of Wilmington, Del., for possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Sept. 2 at routes 1 and 41 in London Grove Township.
BURGLARIES
A home in the 400 block of Ridge Avenue in Kennett Square was burglarized sometime between Aug. 3 and 17, according to a report from Kennett Square police. Several pieces of jewelry were stolen. The investigation is continuing.
A home at 12 Kotobuki Lane in Landenberg, was burglarized on Sept. 5 sometime between 1 and 6 a.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale. The garage was entered through an unlocked front door and tools were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-268-2022.
PUBLIC URINATION
Kennett Square police cited Earl Fountain, 57, of Kennett Square, for disorderly conduct on Aug. 23 at 11:35 p.m. Fountain was seen urinating in public in the 200 block of Birch Street.
CROP RUINED
A field of alfalfa grass on Penwyck Lane in London Grove Township was ruined by someone riding dirt bikes through it on Sept. 7, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Avondale.
DUI
Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested Marilyn Connell, 45, of Landenberg, for DUI after a hit-and-run crash on Aug. 25.
Kennett Square police arrested Eduardo Diaz, 22, of Kennett Square, for DUI on Aug. 25 at 1:25 a.m. after a one-vehicle traffic accident in the 900 block of South Walnut Street. He was released at his residence pending a summons from District Court.
Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested Thomas Haba III, 26, of Coatesville, for DUI on Sept. 6 at 12:10 a.m. on Route 82 south of Route 926 in East Marlborough Township.
