London Grove Township supervisors, and particularly chairman David Connors, got their collective butts kicked in the litigation with Lori and Michael Van Sickle, who managed Inniscrone Golf Course before they were terminated by London Grove supervisors and Connors particularly in 2011.

The township and its insurance company paid a $41,000 settlement, as well as an estimated $100,000 in legal fees. The Chester County Press will be reporting on the exact costs paid by London Grove taxpayers.

To initiate litigation and then lose is an embarrassment and a slap in the face to the London Grove supervisors and their attorney.

Recently, Uncle Irvin commented on the status of Inniscrone under its contract with Heathland Hospitality Group which is paying off the debt of more than $1.2 million that is the responsibility of London Grove taxpayers. Uncle Irvin railed against the purchase of Inniscrone Golf Course and liquor license, and has urged the current supervisors to sell the golf course, repay the $1.2 million debt, and forget about a bad investment.
