Seventy-six current or former Kennett High School students have been recognized by the College Board for exceptional achievement on the college level Advanced Placement Program examinations that they took after finishing AP courses at Kennett High School.

Three students are recognized as National AP scholars.  This designation, the highest award, goes only to those who earn at least a 4 (on a 5-point scale) on all AP examinations taken, and grades of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
