Community meeting on drug problem slated in Parkesburg

The community is invited to a meeting on Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. in the Octorara Junior High School.

The meeting will feature law enforcement agencies, local officials and representatives of the Kacie's Cause team who will discuss anti-drug measures being taken in the area. The issue of heroin abuse will be a focus of the meeting.

The school is at 228 Highland Ave., Atglen, at the intersection of Route 41 and Highland Road. Participants do not have be residents of Parkesburg. Everyone is welcome.
