Rockwell Kent and Jamie Wyeth
The Brandywine River Museum (Route 1, Chadds Ford) presents "Rockwell Kent, Jamie Wyeth and Monhegan" through Nov. 17. The exhibit features works by both artists that have been inspired by the small island off the coast of Maine. The Brandywine River Museum (Route 1, Chadds Ford) presents "Creative Spaces: Photographs of Artists' Homes and Studios" through Sept. 8. The exhibit of photos taken in the homes of 38 artists of the 19th and 20th centuries includes Jackson Pollock, Grant Wood, Andrew and N.C. Wyeth, Frederic Church, Georgia O'Keeffe and others. 'Explorer Mornings' at Brandywine
The Brandywine River Museum (Route 1, Chadds Ford) offers "Explorer Mornings" for ages 3 to 10, accompanied by an adult, through Aug. 1. There will be sessions from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. Children get an interactive, guided tour of one or more museum galleries, followed by an art activity. Participants can come to one workshop or all four. Included in museum admission. The schedule is: "Animal Safari" (July 25); and "Who Am I?" (Aug. 1).
