BURGLARY

A home at 221 Waterway Rd., in East Nottingham Township, was burglarized sometime between June 4 and 19, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Avondale. Several pieces of jewelry were stolen from an upstairs bedroom.

ASSAULT

Kennett Square police arrested Jose Gomez-Martinez, 29, of Kennett Square, for terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment on June 17 at 8:02 a.m. after an incident in the 500 block of Center Street. He was arraigned and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

Kennett Square police say a generator and shovel were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Dalmatian Lane between June 14 and 16.

ATTEMPTED WIRE THEFT

Pennsylvania State Police Avondale reported that someone tried to steal copper wire from the 1600 block of East Street Road in Pennsbury Township on June 25 between midnight and 1:20 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Revels at 610-268-2022.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Someone cut a lock off the fence around Mitchell Mechanical, at 365 Waterway Rd. in Oxford, overnight on June 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-268-2022.

A rock was thrown through the window of a home in the 500 block of North Mill Road in Kennett Square on June 21 at 11 p.m., according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Avondale. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-268-2022.

ARREST WARRANTS

On June 8, Kennett Square police arrested Alex Villafane, 18, of West Chester, for a warrant out of Delaware. He was arraigned and bail was set at $15,000 cash. Unable to post bail, Villafane was released to constables and taken to Chester County Prison.

On June 8, Kennett Square police cited Alejandro Lopez, 42, of Kennett Square, for public drunkenness in the 100 block of East South Street. He was found to have an active bench warrant out of the Chester County District Attorney's Office. He was released to constables and taken to Chester County Prison on the outstanding warrant.

DUI

Pennsylvania State Police Avondale arrested Luis Angel Zavala, 23, of Newark, Del., for DUI at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 896 in London Britain Township on June 14.

Dakota Ray Roberts, 22, of Newark, Del., was arrested for DUI and fleeing police after he failed to stop for police on June 15 at 11:42 p.m. on Good Hope Road at Flint Hill Road.

Robert James Moran, of Wilmington, Del., was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 896 in London Britain Township on June 15 at 12:22 a.m. 

Kennett Square police arrested Gregory Leeber, 45, of Kennett Square, for DUI after a traffic stop in the 600 block of East Cypress Street on Jun 9 at 2:24 a.m. He was released at his residence pending a summons from District Court.
