06/25/2013 05:50PM, Published by ACL, Categories: In Print, Schools

The Unionville-Chadds Ford Education Foundation recently awarded $3,793.00 to Unionville High School biology teacher Rob Conti-D'Antonio to complete the support for the "Flipped Biology Classroom" initiative.

The Education Foundation provides special funding for educational programs and projects throughout the U-CF district schools. These funds will purchase additional iPads that will place a greater emphasis on independent learning in the biology classroom. The flipped classroom increases interaction and personalized contact between students and teachers, while improving the students' engagement in their learning. The technology will also allow for differentiated assessment, instruction, and student products.
