On May 17, Kennett Square police arrested Charles Glasco, Jr., 49, on drug charges after an investigation.

Glasco, who lived at 201 Birch St. in Kennett Square, was charged with eight counts of possession of a controlled substance, eight counts of possession with intent to deliver, and five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arraigned at Kennett District Court and, unable to post $30,000 cash bail, he was sent to Chester County Prison.

In addition, Glasco and Sonya Woods-Glasco, 29, who also lived in the home, were charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.

Kennett Square police were assisted in their investigation, which spanned April 3 to May 17, by the Chester County Detectives and the Municipal Drug Task Force.
