Nottingman man killed in motorcycle crash

A motorcycle crash killed a Nottingham man on the evening of June 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Avondale.

Kenneth Ralph Shepherd, 53, of Nottingham, was driving his 2009 Harley Davidson south on Wilson Mill Road at 8:15 p.m. when he drove off a curve in the road at Reedville Road, and struck an embankment and a tree. Shepherd was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Assisting police at the scene were Oxford EMS, the Oxford Fire Company, Medic 94, the Chester County Coroner's Office and Chew's Towing.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call trooper Timothy O'Connor at 610-268-2022.
